He was going through the various groups of protestors and said "and then you get down to the pros," whom he showed up everywhere there was a promising situation. His description was - dressed in black hoodies, with goggles and gas masks. They also carry portable blowers to clear smoke and tear gas and squirt bottles to clear eyes that have tear gas in them. He said that the identities of some were know but not the majority. He said they always made their exit, escaping arrest. I listened raptly, because I'd had a conversation with our mayor, concerning a fairly recent crowd disturbance we'd had here, and got the same description. Our mayor added that they drove cars with out of state plates and parked strategically, so they could make a quick getaway, leaving the rank and file protestors to be arrested.
