Being this will be the first time Mark gets siginificant media coverage, I think at the very least, the fans should be able to pronounce his last name come Saturday.

So, let's get to practicing:

Guillon is pronounced "GILL-un", kind of like Matt Dillon from "Gunsmoke".

"GILL-un". :)

OK now that we all have his pronuciation down, let's work on spelling his first name correctly. His name is M A R C, not Mark but Marc Guillon.

"Marc" is 6' 3," 212,' Sophomore

Marc Guillon Spelling Guide

TiderinMiss,

You may also want to practice spelling his name correctly. I believe it is Marc not Mark. Perhaps you'll want to revise the title to your thread accordingly.

TiM, this dude is ALL OVER you.

You are still the MAN, though.

Gill-un throws for two td's and runs for another against Rcansaw. You heard it here first.

Hi ‘Tide’ fans….I just wanted to come on here and express my dismay over your QB injury. Your fans will be debating the wisdom of having him in the game at that point for many years. We hold our breath every time MJ takes off with the ball….we have youth and inexperience backing him up.

Brodie seems like a class young man, it’s a shame to see this happen. MJ is a classy guy too. Problem is, you don’t know which MJ will show up for the game….will it be the Rembrandt or the Velvet Elvis?

Regardless of that, here’s to a great game! Win, lose or draw, I prefer to play every team at its best. No excuses. I hope young 'Gill–un' brings his ‘A’ game. If your coming, enjoy yourselves and drive safely.

The ‘Tide’ and the ‘Hog’s’….college football, it doesn’t get any better than this!

I just know pronunciation. Everyone knows I'm the worst speller. After all, I did invented the words "teh" and "adn". ;)

You know I was just poking fun at you TiM, hence the smile with a wink. I too am one of the worse spellers around. My spelling skills combined with my dislexic typing makes for a lot of editing of my posts. I even had to edit the one above teasing you about the spelling of his name. :D

Lets all hope that Marc Guillon can pick right up where Brodie left off.

thanks for the kind words, hog. i'm looking for a good, old-fashioned SEC ball game, too. I like Matt Jones, and i'm sure he'll give BAMA a good game.

Well, not right where he left off like Pennington did last year and both ended up with seperated shoulders, maybe where he left off a few plays earlier. ;)

Yeah, I know! :D I can take it! I type too fast, and I do make typos.

Like TexasTide said, though, I hope that Marc doesn't pick up exactly where Brodie left off. I remember that Georgia game last year. Two separated shoulders! OUCH!
