Not Big 10 East and West or Big 10 South and North. Not even Big 10 Lakes and Plains.

The Big 10 now has the Big 10 "Leaders" Division and Big 10 "Legends" Division.

:biggrin2:

If they're gonna be creative, at least they could be clever. Why not call it the Bad Food and Ugly Women divisions?

Very, very lame. Wonder who got credit for that decision?

Ugh.. as if the rest of the Country didn't hate them enough already. How full of themselves can they be?

What a joke.

You're kidding?

Just when I think I could start to like the Big Ten (since they went to 12 teams and brought in championship game) they go and screw up the divisions by making a hodge podge team split, then they split Ohio State and Michigan AND keep that as the season ending game, and finally, to top it off, they name the divisions Legends and Leaders.

Pathetic. They seem hellbent on remaining the SEC's... well, you know the word.

So...if your team is hot today you are a Leader, and your team was hot in the 1930s you are a Legend? Seems like the division would be lopsided toward the Legend side.:biggrin:

Good heavens. This seems like a childish ruse to me. Any idea on which division each of the members will be in?

Here you go:

The Leaders division will feature Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue and Wisconsin.
The Legends division will have Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska and Northwestern.

Indiana and Illinois in the leaders division, now that's comedy!

:biggrin:This is awesome...it will provide years worth of material to poke fun at the Big 10 (11 or 12).

Wouldn't all the teams qualify for both divisions? ;)

How are Ohio State and Penn State not legends. Why is Northwestern a legend? Mich State is not a leader with an 11-1 record? All makes perfectly good sense to me.

So if they had traded the places of Nebraska and Wisconsin, they could have easily had a North/South divisional split? I see how changing things up a little would make it interesting.
