The UT flags are flying in Tennessee now

I live in the heart of Vol country about 1hr 10min away from Knoxvagas. The orange flags and all the smack talk has started from the Vol fans. Everywhere I turn it's a Tenn. flag so I have taken out all my bama gear and I just bought a crimson Honda Element and I am ready to roll. Anyone else breaking out their Bama gear yet. You know how you fell when you see all that orange at UT campus at the games? Live here and see that all the time it makes you sick to your stomach.

I feel sorry for you...I'm glad I got the heck out of there (Vile Country) when I did. Break out the Crimson. I have my stuff out here in Virginia.

Last year I had flags flying and car magnets and the whole nine yards on my car, and I passed some skater punk kids who decided to snicker. I heard one of them say "Alabama" and they giggled. I stopped the car in the middle of the road, got out and said "Alabama, that's right...now get back inside and do your homework like a good kid"

The look on his face was like he just saw the boogy man and did not know whether to stay and crap in his pants or run away.

Got the Roll Tide flag fluttering in the breeze (since we've been blessed with nothing but hot heat the only way to generate a 'breeze' is drive!) as I drive along.....magnets adorn the stove and refrigerator @ home and I have a Bama Banner to install this weekend in the yard. Office is stuffed with all kinds of Bama stuff...and if anyone has doubt, I wear Crimson & White everywhere.
This past weekend took a drive with my friend and saw Crimson & White Everywhere! Enjoyed lunch @ a BBQ restaurant that was resplendent with Bama stuff! I laughed all the way...helped beat the heat, for even in a.c. cars, it is H-O-T! Last night I rewatched 1999 Bama vs. Fla game....you tend to forget all the turmoil surrounding that year's team...they were impressive because they said "they just came together as a team and made up their minds they were going to win-their actions on the field were the only thing they had control over-What a great group of guys-A. C. Carter, Marvin Constant, Chris Samuels, Andrew Zow, and Shaun...love to watch him run!.... then 1963 Orange Bowl...one of the highlights was an entire 'review' of 1962 season, commentary by Coach Bryant! Don't know how I had missed this portion before, but I did! Wow! Cotton Clark! Lee Roy Jones! Joe Namath! Benny Nelson! Mike ? Mal Moore! (Player, MM). Plus so many more names who were all familiar, but I can't remember them all. Begs the question. Why were the rules changed to prevent players from playing both offense and defense? Anyone know? Roll Tide!:BigA:

One September Saturday I was driving to Chattanooga and saw that pukey orange and white on every car I saw. It was somewhat drizzly, and all of a sudden some vile in a land yacht comes flying up beside me flying his ugly flags. I had my Bama hat in the back window, nothing real flashy. They flipped me off and laughed at me. I just looked at them with a "you just wait" look. That was in 2005 on the day of their Georgia game.

They got beat that day by the dawgs, and a few weeks later they got beat in Bryant Denny. Karma's a witch.

The rules were never changed to prevent players from playing both offense and defense. Some players still do. The rules were changed to allow unlimited substitution, and that is what did away with single platoon football. No reason to have players go both ways if the rules don't require you to do so.

I heard this funny story while on line to get a coke 2 years ago during the UT game. The prior year this guy and his buddy rode up to Knoxville to see the game, 04 and once they got oustide of the Orange town, his buddy tied a smokey stuffed animal to his car. The driver was clueless, but as they got nearer to the stadium a lot more attention was shown to them and then came the onslaught of debris. The buddy said he knew what was going on, when his friend found out what he did, he made him take the dog off, the guy was driving a brand new M Class!

Idea for you. Just take one when no one is looking. It would make a good caution marker in case your car breaks down on the highway. Fold it up so as not to show the T and instant caution flag. Then later on down the road if you got to go to the bathroom and don't have toilet paper, presto.

:) Got my script A magnet on one side of my truck tail gate & a football shaped Roll Tide magnet on the other side. Got my ALABAMA sign in my front yard that stays there year round. Had to get a new car because our other was totalled. Got my red Alabama tag on our new car, surrounded by the Dodge chrome license plate holder. My car is white & the tag looks real good !! Also got hanging on the porch, my Alabama wind chimes ! My Bama flag will be flying today in front of our house. Roll Tide !!! Finally got my 100th post !
