Flip burgers are meh. The flip sauce is basically just thousand island dressing. but that Krispy Kreme milkshake is just pure awesomeness. I have actually never been to the Vortex but everyone says it is great.

Steak tartar burger at flip. Never had their sauce (insert countless innuendo memes here.)

I think Flip started great and then fell flat. Blaize took his eye off the ball while trying to continue being a reality tv star and the place suffered for it of course he only real got Flip because of Top Chef so it's understandable. We went often when they first opened but havent in years now. I heard they came back a bit recently. I also hear there is nothing better than Holman and Finch for burgers in Atlanta now but I haven't been

Man I am totally jealous CA! That should be a great concert. Is he doing the Wall? I know he's been touring that entire album the last couple of years. I think he has to have a stadium to present that. Whatever he does should be great! He's a talented dude.

No, not The Wall this tour (saw him twice on that tour) - this is in support of his new album and includes a lot of back catalog stuff, like tracks from 'Animals' (which is among my very favorite PF albums).

I'm looking forward to it!

i was able to see dave van rock there not long before he died. it's a cool place to see music, especially blues.

For some fans who went to see Roger Waters perform for his first time in New Orleans in nearly five decades Saturday (July 8), the opportunity to see the former Pink Floyd band-member came with a little political disappointment. As both WBRZ and The Advocate reported, Waters wasn't shy about sharing his distaste of President Donald Trump.

The Advocate reported that, during "Pigs (Three Different Ones)," Waters' onstage display showed various "profane images" of Trump, including one image of him "as a baby, being held aloft by Russian president Vladimir Putin." At the song's finale, the display featured the phrase, "Trump is a pig."

Despite Waters never having been particularly coy about his own political leanings, the anti-Trump slant of the show was apparently a little much for some audience members. WBRZ reported that some ticket-buyers left the show.

i think they are still operating. the "motor hotel" above has been purchased and renovated, but i think they are leaving the lounge in tact.

Goodness, this is the fourth time I've seen Roger Waters over the years, so I figured I knew what to expect - not. even. close.

This was probably the best live show I've ever seen. From the performances, to the sound, to the lighting, to the props - just incredible.

If you even think you might want to see this tour, do it. Seriously. Spectacular.

And being in Atlanta (well, Duluth), there were some boo-birds after he very openly called Trump to the mat, but I loved it. RW did so in a very effective manner.

I'm still processing it, but this might end up being the best live show I've ever seen, and I've been to some amazing shows...
