I thought Clemson may lose but now with what Baylor did to NC and this news I don't give them much of a shot to win at all.
There's who Dabo says he is and there is who he really is.http://espn.go.com/college-football...lemson-tigers-send-3-home-including-deon-cain
What the heck was this kid still doing on the team?!
3rd best behind Scott & Peake, but still a key player with 34 receptions & a real deep threat with a 17.1 yard per catch avg. A freshman so had huge potential. Is Cain their best receiver?
Oh yes. OU has been playing teams with 3rd and 4th string QBs. Nope, Clemson in a close one.OU may look good on defense, but, they haven't faced a first string quarterback in 3 games. Even then they beat barely beat TCU.
I'm getting the sense that OU is mad not to play Bama in the semi finals. It seems to me they are kind of overlooking Clemson a bit. kind of like what FSU did last year. I work in Tallahassee and got a lot of flak from FSU fans down here because they had to play Oregon not Bama in the Semi's. watching the bowl game between OU and Clemson last year you would think they would take Clemson a little more serious. if OU doesn't have their mind right, Clemson will boat race them. again.
15 yrs went by between OU's last two NC's(1985-2000)It's been 15 yrs now since their last one. Bob has had success against us (3-0). None of that means they will win it all this year, but I think a lot of their fans believe the stars are lining up in their favor and that, at this point in time, they truly have the best team in the four team field. You guys know I live in Tulsa, you would not believe how cocky OU fans are feeling heading into these second inaugural playoffs. The honestly believe the trophy belongs in Norman already, which is perplexing considering they did not only lose to texas but they were smoked by 5-7, 7th in big 12, texas
Somehow, they do seem to have some kind of number on us. I have to admit I find myself hoping we`ll play Clemson if we get by MSU. Guess you might say OU`s in my head a bit.15 yrs went by between OU's last two NC's(1985-2000)It's been 15 yrs now since their last one. Bob has had success against us (3-0). Notre Dame and Texas had our number as well. I'm ready to get another shot at the Sooners if we can take care of business tomorrow night.Somehow, they do seem to have some kind of number on us. Yep I want to get that monkey off our back but lets get past Michigan State first.Notre Dame and Texas had our number as well. I'm ready to get another shot at the Sooners if we can take care of business tomorrow night.
I just don't think we'll get the chance - I think we beat MSU and play Clemson.Yep I want to get that monkey off our back but lets get past Michigan State first.
You may be right Dabo had a great press conference this morning. He did not dodge any questions.I just don't think we'll get the chance - I think we beat MSU and play Clemson.
Yeah, because South Carolina has never had isssues......There's who Dabo says he is and there is who he really is.
As for the ACC runner up Tar Heels, they took it on the chin today by giving up 756 yards (645 rushing) and 49 points to Baylor.
I never claimed otherwise. I'm referencing the hypocrisy of Dabo and how he presents himself and his program versus reality. Dabo and clemson are no better or worse than other programs such as USC, Bama, UGA, etc. in terms of issues, behavior, and the like, but they certainly sell themselves as being such.Yeah, because South Carolina has never had isssues......![]()
