I'm getting the sense that OU is mad not to play Bama in the semi finals. It seems to me they are kind of overlooking Clemson a bit. kind of like what FSU did last year. I work in Tallahassee and got a lot of flak from FSU fans down here because they had to play Oregon not Bama in the Semi's. watching the bowl game between OU and Clemson last year you would think they would take Clemson a little more serious. if OU doesn't have their mind right, Clemson will boat race them. again.

You guys know I live in Tulsa, you would not believe how cocky OU fans are feeling heading into these second inaugural playoffs. The honestly believe the trophy belongs in Norman already, which is perplexing considering they did not only lose to texas but they were smoked by 5-7, 7th in big 12, texas

15 yrs went by between OU's last two NC's(1985-2000)It's been 15 yrs now since their last one. Bob has had success against us (3-0). None of that means they will win it all this year, but I think a lot of their fans believe the stars are lining up in their favor and that, at this point in time, they truly have the best team in the four team field.

Somehow, they do seem to have some kind of number on us. I have to admit I find myself hoping we`ll play Clemson if we get by MSU. Guess you might say OU`s in my head a bit.

One thing that makes the bowl games so interesting (and hard to pick) is the let-down factor. N Carolina was hoping to win the ACC and hoped somehow to make the CFP. Instead, they were flat and flattened. Now we have this Auburn team whose season crashed and burned and Memphis who was "the SEC champion", going to be in one of Big Six bowls and if things went right the CFP ..... and then, and then they crashed and burned. So the question is which one will the be flattest? Now to Clemson/Oklahoma: Both have the goal right in front of them and the edge, IMO, is in Clemson's corner as the underdog.

Notre Dame and Texas had our number as well. I'm ready to get another shot at the Sooners if we can take care of business tomorrow night.

I'm expecting the Sooners to expose clemson as an inept rushing defense, with clemson taking the win. I'm with you guys though, if we had our way, I like the prospect of a revenge win against OU for the real prize. Keep in mind, the last time we won a post season game, Barack Obama was still in his 1st term.

Yeah, because South Carolina has never had isssues......
I never claimed otherwise. I'm referencing the hypocrisy of Dabo and how he presents himself and his program versus reality. Dabo and clemson are no better or worse than other programs such as USC, Bama, UGA, etc. in terms of issues, behavior, and the like, but they certainly sell themselves as being such.

In terms of clemson-Oklahoma, the more I watch the ACC flounder in bowl games (especially on defense), the more I think OU may win this by two scores.

We're the best TEAM with the best coaching in this thing. I will pull for Dabo tomorrow but would love to pimp slap stoops if given the chance and we win against MSU.
