People tend to forget that the spread is designed to put the defense at a major disadvantage. I really don't care how many yards a team runs up between the 20s as long as we keep them out of the ez.

That`s it. Like a lot of folks, I was upset with our seeming inability to stop the barn, particularly in the first half. Upon calmer reflection, I`m beginning to move to a position in which the most important defensive stat/rank is " Scoring Defense". Field goals somewhat aside, what happens between the 20`s is not nearly so important as what happens from the 20 on in. Assuming you have a decent O, you do what we did in the first half in the red zone consistently, you`ll win a lot of ball games.

Reflections on the IB? Sweet, peaceful, happy times for a year. Going forward is another game, another week. I will let nothing diminish the fact that we beat the barn by what by all rights should have been almost three touchdowns. And finished the game. I will bask in this for a solid year, you can bank it.
