Armed or not......There is NO grey area in choosing to randomly approach someone smaller and weaker than you, knocking the crap out of them for sport and taking their money. If I am the victim, family member of friend of his I am NOT OK with it. Wouldn't care either if Saban himself thinks the sun shines out this kid's butt.....

Do they deserve another chance?...perhaps. Do victims ever get a second chance?????

A Crime is a crime...I would feel better if that's your stance. But identity theft hurts just as a punch in the face and that could be commented by someone more crafty and smart. So, their size is not a factor to me...its about character.

You are exactly correct. It is about making the deliberate choice to take advantage of an unsuspecting and innocent victim. When you make a decision to do that, whether it is a paper or physical crime, you have crossed the line. Can't understand why Bernie Madoff was treated any differently than Bonnie and Clyde.

I totally agree. Yes, these guys can have a second chance, but not at Alabama in my opinion.

If Pettway returns to the team, I've just got to believe that the staff is on top of everything and feel extremely confident in this young man's ability to rehabilitate himself. Otherwise, I wouldn't want any part of it. Let LSU sort things out.

I cannot believe he would even be considered to return; but I do not know the details the coaches do. Bama certainly doesn't need him; if they let him back it must be for reasons other than football.
