the layout on 247 is a lot cleaner, but no they dont have the same resources as rivals, the bama site there will now be tidesports, pretty soon.

rivals has like 5 guys right now that evaluate talent. 247 will be the new recruiting leader by the upcoming football season

I'm not finding anything lacking yet on the new BOL site, most of all those God-awful monsterous sig pics that were allowed on the old site. Glad they decided to limit the size of those things. (Although some the pics themselves I liked)

Shannon Terry has a lot of resources to build 24/7 Sports. It won't be long before you start seeing bloggers and newspapers cite a player's ranking on 24/7 Sports as frequently as Rivals.com.

The really great thing about Tide Sports/Rivals is that Cecil Hurt and Chase Goodbread are both on that staff. The great thing about Bama Online/247Sports staff is their staff is the same as it was before the switch. I am impressed with both Tide Sports/Rivals and BOL/247Sports. Bama coverage just took a big step forward for us recruiting folks.

Apparently Bone is no longer with Tuscaloosa News writing about recruiting. I could not find him or the recruiting link on The Tuscaloosa News site. Bone is still on Bama Mag and Scout.com as a recruiting analyst.

Yeah, I'd assume there would be some sort of conflict with Bone working for Scout while Tidesports has become the Rivals affiliate. Both parties would probably frown on that.
