I have two extra kicks somewhere, but still very close to accurate for career

Compared to our best two kickers, he is right there with them.

I just want to take this opportunity to let you know how much what you did in the 1985 Iron Bowl meant to me. I don't think anyone else could have made that kick.
LMAO!!!!! that was great :)

I hope he gets this out of his system soon, he us a senior

Now this is where we should focus our concern. Our place kicker, long snapper and punter leave this year as seniors. Let's focus on who will be replacing them next year, not this season.

For the stat lovers out there...

2009 FBS (Division I-A) College Football Individual Statistics Leaders for Kicking - ESPN

Interestingly, out of the 145 kickers listed in the stats attached above, there are 99 of them who have made 100% of the extra points that they've attempted -- 9 out of these 99 kickers have attempted 13 or more extra points (Tiffin has apparently attempted 13 to date). Also, 126 out of the 145 kickers have made more than 84.6% of the extra points that they've attempted -- 20 out of these 126 have attempted 13 or more extra points. Only 5 out of the 145 kickers have missed 2 or more extra points -- Tiffin being 1 of the 5.

As stats and extra points go, Tiffin is apparently not performing like an All-SEC place kicker. All other SEC kickers have out-performed Tiffin in the extra point department to date with 11 out of the 13 making 100% of their extra point attempts (the other 2 have only missed 1 attempt each).

And just because it caught my eye, the Barn kicker, Wes Byrum, is 5 for 5 on field goals and 16 for 16 on extra points. 4 out of the 5 field goals were in the 40-49 yard range.

Edit: Oh by the way, if you're arguing that Tiffin is the best option we have at the moment (as kickers go), I totally agree with you. However, if you're arguing that he is a serious weapon/threat against our opponents or that he's the cream of the crop when it comes to NCAA kickers, I think those assertions are reasonably debatable.
09 season stats (3 games in) are about as useful as preseason polls. If Tiffin is still near dead last by Tenn, you might have a point.
