I'd love it if the WEONE was a sign, but I'd feel better if it was WEWON...It could stand for something totally different, or just be a generic flight name, such as "Wing East One" (just a random example)...I'm just trying to stay grounded (no pun intended)

probably the same way the quarterbacks before them felt when they were being recruited. This time next year everyone will be talking about some other high profile kid and Tebow will be an afterthought for at least a year or two.

How will everybody else be celebrating National Tebow Day? Personally, I will be wearing my Andrew Zow, oops, I meant, Tim Tebow #5 Crimson Tide Jersey. Tailgating outside my cubicle with Conecuh Dogs and Dr. Pepper (can't drink at work). Discuss the merits of pro style offense and spread option offense to my staff (all 65 years old and up and wouldn't know the difference b/w a football and a basketball!). Monitor the progress on bamafans.com every 5 minutes and get ready for the party that will involved balloons dropping and the playing of Yea Alabama for the rest of the work day somewhere around 4:15.

I find it very odd that the flight path designation was WEONE. Especially after an 8-10 hour visit. I don't visit with my own family that long. Sounds like they may have talked, ate lunch, talked some more, had a church service, then celebrated over dinner. If he was a commit to Florida and I were a gator fan, I would be feeling real scared about right now. If we do get a commitment from him, won't it be funny that the one who was letting everyone know where he was going was not a recruiting guru but a pilot.

I woke up this morning feeling good about our chance, but seeing everyone just change in less than 24 hours man makes me sick :mad2: . I guess im the only who truly believes he is coming to Bama. If he chooses Florida, ill be upset for about and hour or two but ill get over it.

Obviously I want to be as optimistic as I can be on the Tebow situation. I have went back and forth from hopeful to doubtful and now I am back to hopeful again. I would have to think the designation of the flight path as WEONE could mean something very positive or it could just be a weird coincidence, we will all know soon. But I have read and I have no idea if it is true that some of that time was spent recruiting others in the Jacksonville area.
