I'm glad I checked the board, because I was about to post this as well. Last season he had a game where he looked like death warmed over. I just thought he probably got COVID and was still lingering from that. But yesterday, something looked waaaaay off. His eyes looked like he was in the middle of about to start to cry, "glassy" and "watery" looking and his face looked very swollen like he was having a reaction to something. Then at points, it appeared he had some slur in speech as well.

Whatever it is, something has definitely happened.

Whatever happened with her on TV the day I watched live wasn't migranes.I'm not trying to be mean, but there was something else up that day...
Yah, I agree. At times he almost sounded like Lee Corso after his stroke. His apparent weight gain could be due to something like prednisone, but I'm no doctor so that's just a crazy guess.

But he was definitely off.

Def noticed the ~shakiness in his speech / something being off.

As Brad posits above, the puffiness could well be prednisone-esque, but either way, def not the McShay we're used to...

I, too, noticed he was a little off during his segment. He looks like he has "moon face" which is associated with long term medicinal steroid use. Possible Cushing's syndrome can develop from treatment for lupus. for instance. This is pure speculation by me, so it definitely should be considered as "rumor control"

It was so apparent in his face and cheeks and his speech that I wondered why he would’ve had a dental procedure so close to going on live tv.
