Transfers - a dreary question...

And yet his snaps damaged us all year long. I expected both Downs and Bond to do well. Seth was a surprise...
Yeah, how to you go from crazy snaps at BAMA to Mr. Reliable at OSU. Some have blamed Milroe etc for the bad snaps at BAMA, but that doesn't make sense. If it was a cadence thing then the snap might be early or late, but his bad snaps were all over the place - wide, high, in the dirt, or bounced back. Maybe he did have too much on his plate such as calling the protections etc. Regardless, I think we did get a good replacement at center.

I think losing Downs was the biggest loss. Bond was #2 but Mr. Williams made me forget about him. If sure would have been nice though, to have both of them on the field together. Our young DB's are really making progress, but I think Downs would have given us a much more stable defensive backfield early on. With him, maybe Georgia doesn't make that massive comeback.

I do feel like Brailsford is an upgrade overall. McLaughlin was an excellent center (minus the yippy snaps) but Brailsford has been very, very good.
I’d take Brailsford all day everyday over Seth. I was kindve ambivalent about him leaving but then when all the talk of snap cadence being the reason for the bad snaps….good riddance

I think it would be Downs by a wide margin. He's at Alabama and Alabama is likely ranked ahead of Ohio State.

Bonds was a big loss on paper, but you have to try to calculate the downsides of his selfish nature. Seth... if he didn't develop the yips, he would have been amazing but instead he might have cost Alabama a championship. Someone mentioned Brailsford had a couple bad snaps as well, alright... that compared to half of the snaps being bad against Michigan. No comparison whatsoever, clear upgrade due to what ever was going on with him.

If we have bonds and Downs we add a td with bonds and we take a td off the board with Downs in the game tonight.

For this particular team, Downs was a far greater loss than Bond.

A fantastic defensive back is a huge plus, hard to find, and always makes a difference in a game.

What good is another talented receiver when Milroe is your QB? When JM is running his one-man show, all the receiver is going to do is get frustrated. It’s not like we have Tua or Mac back there, distributing the ball to anybody who gets open.

This off season may see a lot of transfers that will either make or break next year's team. I expect an exodus that may include some starters who see a greater opportunity to compete for a NC at other schools like UGA, Texas, TAMU, Tennessee and even Florida. We need to use the portal to sign an experienced QB, possibly one with at least maybe two years of eligibility. Probably just as important will be to go to the portal for some decent OL. I still think our overall talent level is and has been overrated. I hope Milroe and Sheridan do not return.

I do think that if Milroe returns it will trigger a mass exodus of RB and WR talent.

And fans. I won't watch another game with him at QB. My health is important to me, and Milroe is not good for my health.
Yes... The Milroe experiment has always been a huge question mark and it is time to end.

I just can't watch him fail to run the offense and make terrible decisions. I know he is fast and athletic and will occasionally turn in the big play, but a competent game manager wins last night. Our depleted D took its lumps, but without the 3 INTS, 20+ points was plenty.
