So in your world GT if I find no fault with trump and his policies I am a racist?? I can only speak for myself, you are wrong.
The economy is booming, North and South Korea are talking (and not about war), we have had several prisoners released from foreign prisons( without paying a ransom), unemployment is at record lows, the Tide is undefeated and in the hunt for another title... there are a lot of things to be thankful for in this great land. Roll Tide

If you find no fault with any of Trump's policies then at the very least you are comfortable supporting racism. And at that point you're just splitting hairs as to whether or not that makes you a racist.

Well, you’re certainly not Christian, so you should shout that loud and proud when you vote so everyone knows. I’m sure all the born again’s/evangelicals/fundamentalists in the Republican Party would welcome any atheist with open arms.
Everything Trump says, does and stands for is the exact opposite of what Christ told us to say and do, and stand for; so support for him cannot legitimately be reconciled with Christianity.
No need for me to list any examples, as it would take days number one and number two atheists already know and accept it.

I am trying to understand why Trump supporters believe he is not a racist besides him saying he is the "most non racist person you will ever meet". If you are not a racist, and I believe you are being honest, how can you support his separation of families and placing young children in what amounts to internment camps? I have friends and family who I would never have thought had a racist bone in their bodies tell me we have to protect our borders because we cannot have races mixing, that most of these immigrants are criminals, gang members, and drug cartel plants. I just cannot understand his lack of any shred of human decency.

I shouldn’t like this post because it’s such a sad commentary on who and what we have become as people and country. Sure isn’t the one I was born and raised to believe in.

64 met, a question, how do people who profess to be Christians reconcile Trump's stance on immigration and his treatment of people who oppose his politics? I can only speculate that his followers live in such fear of the demise of the white race in America that they would willingly sacrifice their moral values, religious beliefs, and turn a blind eye to his behavior if it meant preserving their dominance in American society and protection of their socio-economic station. Is this a reasonable explanation or in your opinion is there something missing?

They can’t - hence the snarky reply.
If you’re waiting for a coherent, logical and credible explanation, I hope you’re planning on staying a while.
There are no rebuttals- only shouts of “MAGA!” and “KAG!” And “Squirrel!”. It’s anti Christian, and you don’t have to take my word for it (if you won’t believe the NT)....

You snowflakes telling people what their religious beliefs can and cant be based on who they support politically is precious.

So if a Democrat who voted for Obama, does not believe unborn fetuses should have their skulls pieced and their brains sucked out, do yall kick them out of the club? I go to church with many Democrats, few of them support abortion. Ya'll can't really be this dense...never mind, yes you can.

Politics and Christ. Both sides are funny and neither stands for him.
I was always taught the “Render unto Caesar...” comment meant give your “government” whatever they require, but not your soul.
I guess that’s not a popular position amongst Trumpers anymore (if it ever was).

Smaller government doesn’t mean one doesn’t pay their share though. I don’t want the federal government telling what to do about everything. That plan doesn’t work at all.

The demos rail against separating the children at the border, and rightfully so in my opinion. However, in Chicago, a democratically controlled city, how many Americans kids are separated from their families due to rampant crime? Where is the righteous indignation? Where are all the Democrats calling their leadership inept and racist for allowing the murder of so many minorities?

https://www.google.com/amp/www.chic...end-shooting-violence-20180709-story,amp.htmlSo far this year, at least 1,433 people have been shot in the city, and there have been at least 246 homicides, according to data kept by the Tribune. Shootings and homicides remain down from 2016 and 2017, years of record-breaking violence, but are higher than other recent years. This time last year, at least 1,945 people had been shot; this time in 2012, 1,334.

I said “require”; taking their due doesn’t mean taking everything. That’s another myth perpetrated by cons (and Trumpers): if the government tells you to do “anything” (or not to do), it automatically means they are telling you to do “everything “ (or not to do).
That’s an illogical conclusion fostered by propagandists, for the benefit of the few.

The joy of being an independent person with an independent mind...all the false equivalencies don't matter to me so I can focus on a solution to both problems and not care about stupid political games.

Want to know the kicker? Republicans are just as responsible as Democrats for crime in Chicago because they have doubled down on the policies that lead to such crime. But no one wants to face that.

What’s really precious is that the real snowflakes have been revealed over the last three years. Which is why the Non-Sports forum was suddenly too political for most of the conservatives after they realized it wasn’t going to be an echo chamber for their conspiracy theories and why they’ve seemingly had to start outsourcing for new defenders.
