“This all happened very, very quickly... It was only then, after he was being dragged out of the room that he identified himself as a U.S. senator."

Senator Padilla DID NOT identify himself before being dragged out.

You can't tell anything from that video. In the ones I've seen, he clearly identifies himself as soon as they place hands on him. I remember thinking that it wasn't going to get him anywhere. I also never saw any "lunge" towards the podium which is part of the official story. All that said, you can place me in the camp of the people who think he should not have done what he did. Crashing another pol's presser and not waiting for a Q&A session is bad form and, he may not have anticipated being dragged out, but he intended a provocation for the TV cameras...
