Trump's Policies XII

Politicians keep spinning, spinning, spinning...
LOL

Marco Rubio: "Cuba not only has weapons they've acquired from Russia and China, but they also host Russian and Chinese intelligence presence in their country. So Cuba has always posed a national security threat to the US. They're a leading state sponsor of terror."
the sheer shamelessness, arrogance, and cluelessness they display is hard to fathom

Not necessarily policy related

turns out, it is sort of policy related

U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is resigning from her post, apparently because of her husband’s medical condition, Fox News reported Friday evening. However, a source familiar with the matter later told Reuters that Gabbard “was forced to resign.”

According to the Fox News report, Gabbard informed President Donald Trump during an Oval Office meeting that she planned to step down at the end of June, after her husband was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.

In her resignation letter to Trump, Gabbard explained her decision, writing: “At this time, I must step away from public service in order to stand by his side and fully support him in this fight.”

Cuba is broke down and really not much of a threat from what I can see. I think the major issue is that they have great beach front property that needs to be bought and developed for the dollars.
Isn't it an amazing incongruity that there is a US island in the Carribean called Puerto Rico that has been devastated by hurricanes and general malaise due to its relationship with the US. Trump and the US government choose to ignore that and focus on an island next door that the US has chosen to embargo and opress since the 1960's. One could appreciate the fact that Israel hasn't been able to murder or starve out all those pesky Palestinians in Gaza to support Trump's land development "wet dream" in Gaza, so now we move to God Father II with dreams of the Trump Mob taking over Havana.

Just this morning a video came up exploring real job growth in the US and where it occurred. It wasn't in manufacturing! Then it looked into economic growth and how that has been maintained. Unfortunately that came to a great extent with a growth in consumer credit. That as become great burden to continued consumer driven economic growth. Particularly with inflation numbers being too great to hide anymore. It is no wonder that consumer sentiment is plunging.
