And... instead of this being viewed as a heroic performance it's going to lose him the Heisman trophy most likely. Hurray for ignorant voters.
Exactly! I also, haven’t heard anyone, in the national media, mention once Josh Jacobs mining the MVP playing with essentially the Flu! It’s all pure Bama Fatigue. It’s real!

Speculation in the Heisman thread is that our (Bama's) lack of communicating what was going on with Tua's injury contributed to this as well. But CNS isn't in to individual awards over team and so he chose to conceal Tua's injury. It is what it is.

That said, I guess there could have been a media blitz on Sunday morning regarding how he had played hurt a good part of the year.

The media was still reporting yesterday that he had surgery on his rt ankle that was injured late in the game when in fact it was his lt ankle that he hurt on the first series. He played hurt the whole game. Some media members were pointing out that his poor performance in the game hurt his Heisman chances.

Just saw that a medical person said that Tua's injury is not nearly as bad at Jalen's. Good news...hope he is 100% for OU. BIGTide may be right after all...
I believe it is true that Tua's injury was scoped to improve healing and Jalen's had a procedure to stabilize his Tibia and Fibula. His injury could have involved damage to soft tissue which created far greater pain in those initial weeks. It remains to be seen how vulnerable Tua will be to re-injury or continued lack of mobility by game time.
I believe preparing Jalen and Tua to play will be a necessary focus when game preparation begins.

So is that some sort of stimulator similar to a tens unit laying in his lap? I see the wires running around to the boot.
