Usually no NFL threads, but this is about the close we can come to Bama football this weekend. I think the next time the center centers the ball between Tua's legs, if I'm the HC, I tell Tua not to chase the ball down and tackle the carrier...
I wish I could watch the game. In my area near Atlanta CBS is showing the Bills v Cardinals. This is the 2nd or 3rd time they have not shown the Dolphins this year. I miss watching Tua! I am watching the espn.com game cast that just shows a few things. Not sure what else I can do. I am not great at figuring out how to watch it elsewhere. lolUsually no NFL threads, but this is about the close we can come to Bama football this weekend. You might be able to DL the Dolphins app. In this case, the center put the ball on the ground short of Tua's hands. No one knew where the ball was. A charger DB scooped it up and took off. Tua ran him down and tackled him. Not really what you want your starting QB doing, particularly not with medical problems...I wish I could watch the game. 1983 says hello. Elway, Marino, Kelly - 3 HOF QBs.We may look back on this QB class as one of the best ever. Tua playing well. Herbert playing well. Burrow playing well. Am I missing anyone?
I said one of the best ever.1983 says hello. Elway, Marino, Kelly - 3 HOF QBs.
I don't think it will be top 10, but time will tell.I said one of the best ever.
It is a bit early to judge now. They could all fail next year.I don't think it will be top 10, but time will tell.
Tom Brady was drafted 199th. Joe Montana was drafted at the end of the third round. There must have been a lot of great quarterbacks in those drafts. ;I don't think it will be top 10, but time will tell.
Until I read your post, I had forgotten.Hard me to get used to the “LA Chargers.” My wife asked who the Dolphins were playing and without thinking said “San Diego.”
Yep. The rarity is the QB drafted in the first round that was actually great. Bart Star was in a round that doesn't even exist anymore. Todd Blackledge, Tony Eason, and Ken O'Brien were all drafted before Marino.Tom Brady was drafted 199th. Joe Montana was drafted at the end of the third round. There must have been a lot of great quarterbacks in those drafts. ;
Like Las Vegas Raiders.Hard me to get used to the “LA Chargers.” My wife asked who the Dolphins were playing and without thinking said “San Diego.”
Amazingly enough, a guy named Jack Thompson (aka "The Throwin' Samoan) went #3 as the highest QB pick in the Montana draft.Tom Brady was drafted 199th. Joe Montana was drafted at the end of the third round. There must have been a lot of great quarterbacks in those drafts. ;
He’s playing team ball. They are bringing him along slowly and he’s smart enough to let them do it. He flashes some brilliance, but he’s throwing a little high right now. One of his receivers is 5’7” , so he’s gonna have to bring it down some. There was at least one drop on a pass that hit a receiver in the hands. Tua also had a deflection that should’ve been intercepted, and a pass that LITERALLY went between the linebacker’s cupped hands. I don’t even know how he didn’t disrupt the rotation or how the receiver maintained concentration to catch it.So in his starts, Tua has now faced two of the guys he was most directly compared to in college and beaten both of them. Not bad.
Yep. Although this is their third city so I am somewhat used to them moving around.Like Las Vegas Raiders.
