BREAKING Ty Declaring for NFL Draft

Granted, I could be dead wrong, but Sean McVay and the Rams upper brass have never appeared like their relationship was one in which management would take a player (especially in the first round) that McVay didn't sign off on. But, again, I could be dead wrong.

Thats the feeling I've always had as well. Also, Jay Glaxer tweeted the Rams were taking Ty about 20 minutes before they were on the clock, and reported McVay informed Stafford earlier that afternoon.they plannd on drafting Ty. That, to me, doesn't sound like a situation where there was dissent.

A little concerning for Ty that Sean McVay does not seem to have agreed with the pick.

Agreed...the talking heads have to create chaos even when there is none...another reason not to watch.

Its really sad that the talking heads in their winners and losers section called LA losers for drafting Ty............I think they underestimate his potential

It's not so much about Ty as about the fact the Rams are a Super Bowl contender and they had the opportunity to add an immediate difference maker like Kenyon Sadiq, etc. to help them immediately. In the post draft presser with the L.A. GM and Coach McVay; McVay did not appear happy.

These same analysts also spent the entire off-season making up reasons to downplay Ty. As the draft got closer, they kept coming up with more and more ridiculous excuses to rate him low. They eventually ran with "he only started one season", which has never really been an issue before, for the right guys. i even saw some people say he was too short, even though he's only like half an inch shorter than Aaron Rodgers. This is just your typical media mistreatment of anything related to Alabama. Speaking of Aaron Rodgers, I never heard anyone say anything like this back then when they made a decision to draft him in the first round, despite being contenders with a QB.
