True, but MJ is worth a BILLION dollars...I wasn't trying to start an argument, just stating that I'm not hiring Charles to manage my portfolio...
Jordan is an outlier since he was able to leverage endorsement deals even after he retired. Very few athletes are able do that.
I don't think he has taken good care of his money. Unlike other retired athletes though, he still gets a regular paycheck north of $1.5 million/yr. That's kept him from going bust.

Wrong. His investment guy is one of the best. He has taken good care of his money for him.
Me too. I assume from all the gambling talk that Tyren got suspended for gambling.
Just seeing the crap they spend $$ on will blow your mind.... I know I've mentioned it on here before but, I am still amazed at the idiot that had 20+ former HS 'homies' on the payroll... And he wonders why he has no $$$$. On the flip side I know of 1 who was so tight he'd call and ask his advisor if it was ok to spend $20. The have a female advisor who I'd say is one of the best in the business. She makes sure they are setup for life.

As do I. I think this kid has a ton of potential. But as they say, potential is what you make of it.
