I am surrounded by UGA fans, and it is amazing how much of a big deal they make about those black jerseys. I mean they are pretty cool, but they act like no one has ever worn black jerseys before. I agree it will be sweeter if we win when they are wearing their hallowed black jerseys.

i love it. ill be wearing white! roll tide.

i think we will win this game.
i hope your right my friend. i think there O-line could potentially be worse than Arkansas but i guess we will have to wait a week to see how we all really match up. i have a bad feeling about the black jerseys. UGA really plays up to there A-game when they go in black out. i really hope our team doesn't get intimidated by it though... so we should "stage" a white out. one was suppose to go on for the Clemson game but never exactly came to fruition. Go BAMA, ROLL TIDE!:BigA:

UGA wearing all black will cover up the blood and tears they are going to shed Saturday night. It will help to cover the bruises their bodies and egos will be forced to take, as Bama beats UGA by a minimum of 14 points......

I know many people don't think about this....

BUT

The color of the opposing team's uniforms (vs) our own -- it will have a very big impact on the outcome of the game,

For Example: If Georgia wears black and Alabama wears white then it will be easier for JPW to deliver the ball to his recievers; although this may work in favor of the bulldogs as well...

IMO: During a nightgame, the team wearing "not black" will have the advantage

Lets make it so that they never want to stage a Blackout again. I want them to look back on their last blackout and get a sick feeling from the loss that they will have suffered. Roll Tide!

I'm surrounded too, man. It's like Georgia was mediocre for so long that some of their fans don't know how to handle their recent success. The Blackouts are just one of many examples of how awesome Georgia believes they are. I for one, want this victory more than the Auburn game. It's going to be a long six days.

Jersey color means diddly. The beating they put on the Barn last year had nothing to do with uni color. More to do with their O and D lines. Plus, they beat em' the same way the year before wearing white.

If they think the jersey will win it for them, said jersey maybe retired come Sunday morning.

As I recall, LSU thinks a lot of white jerseys under the lights, but for some reason, that never seemed to help them much when they played Bama in Baton Rouge. I recall several games when the LSU fans were exiting around halftime.

They can "blackout" all they want, but we'll be the ones turning the lights out at Sanford when the night's over. :BigA:

Official link to Georgia's blackout

"Georgia head coach Mark Richt announced on his weekly teleconference Sunday evening that the No. 3 Bulldogs will wear black jerseys against No. 8 Alabama in their home game this Saturday night."

"In addition, Richt announced that ESPN College GameDay would be making its first trip to Athens since the Tennessee game in 1998."

I never heard about Richt attending the Bama/Clemson game:

“Their game didn’t surprise me,” Richt said. “This is kind of the magical year number two at Alabama and they are playing some outstanding football. I got to go to their game against Clemson in the Georgia Dome so to see them have an outcome like (Saturday’s) was not all that shocking.”
