Although I know it is going to be a "long" process, who decides the teams? It will never be "fixed" until there is a playoff between conference champions and it is decided on the field!

At this point since the pac and big 10 don't want any change (for obvious reasons), I'm for going ahead without them. 4 conference champion teams from acc,sec,big east, and big 12. Then play it out. I'm sick of the pac and big 10 stopping progress. The whole country wants it.

It would be a great recruiting tool for the rest of us. Do you want to play in the rose bowl or do you want to play for a national chamionship?

Heck! I'd even give them their "precious" rose bowl so they could play each other in it every year. They could be rose bowl champions.

Acouple of years and they'd be begging to get in.

it was fixed years ago when almost everybody on newyears day had a chance,with only 4 bowl games that day.

Any plan will not make sense until each conference has a championship game and a rule that states a team cannot compete in a BCS national championship game if it did not win its conference championship game. They might even think about having a rule that says a team cannot compete in any BCS bowl if it did not win it's conference championship. I know there will still be arguments about who plays in the BCS championship game and but there will never be a perfect plan.
