it seems when Bateman is off, he is way off. Tends to have an ugly first down. He's probably a rhythm QB. That can be really good or really bad.

May be some bad routes by the receivers on some of the throws.

I think the erratic snaps were keeping him from getting comfortable.

He also needs a better snapper. They are way off..

FYI: the snapper for Bateman is a norte dame commit!!

What I like about Bateman is reports all week talk about how the other players just like being around him. Seems to posess a natural leadership quality which is so important for a QB.

I heard Lugingbill say something about his leadership. Getting people to follow you and being a leader is huge as a QB.

I would not worry too much about it since he has been learning and practicing the plays with his receivers for a week. Really hard to get your timing down with that little preparation time.

I thought Walker had a great game but most all DL had good games on both sides. Foster was getting good separation all game but wished he would have shown better hands b/c I've heard he has great hands. Bateman was solid but still needs some work. I see a redshirt next year with Alec Morris stepping up to compete for backup role. Hill was solid but all OL had trouble in the game, all reports said he did great in practice. Not as flashy as last years UA game for UA commitments but overall very good.

Although this game didn't compare to last year's, we still have a nice group. Can't wait to see these guys on campus.

Any replay availability? I forgot to record and would like to get a look at some of these guys! I checked ESPN website and didn't see it there. FWIW, I can't get ESPN3 because of my internet provider.
