Memo to all the BAMA haters:

You call us names, you joke about the "Process", you make up excuse after excuse why you feel we are overrated and then after we whip your tail on the field or in the recruiting war, you run off crying 'foul' to your mommy. Suck it up, wipe the tears away and put on your big boy pants if want to play with the best. Either way, it's time to wake up and get your heads out of the sand because Coach Saban and Company have just deemed your program obsolete.

For years you have run your mouth about your team being QB U, Running Back U, LB U, etc. Well let me introduce you to University of Alabama Football, aka "NFL U". Pro owners and coaches are lining up to get a glimpse of their next franchise player entering the NFL draft. Scouts are awe struck at the physical specimens with NFL ready talent heading their way. Don't get too excited though, the talent pool is not going dry, it's about to refill to the brim. Get ready on Feb 1 to watch the hottest IPO in the land go public. Saban has perfected his product and Elite High School athletes are sprinting forward to claim a Golden Ticket before they are all gone.

The Crimson Tide has just begun to rise and anything and everyone in it's path is about to be demolished. So run for high ground or put on your swimmies because your program is about to be 'Processed'!

While I love your enthusiasm, please don't start trying to label Alabama with any "U" tag.

Remember that it was only a few years ago that we had no players drafted to the NFL.

We as a fan base are always calling out other fans that place a "U" tag on their teams,

Alabama has always let the facts speak for them.

So if we are going to be called any "U", then we should be "Joe Friday U".... Just the facts Ma'mam..

Roll Tide Boys...

It hasn't been that long ago that we didn't have a single player drafted. I haven't forgotten the down years, but let me tell you, I am really enjoying the period we are in now.

Agree. I don't take for granded any win; I celebrate all of 'em. Furthermore, football is cyclical. We're up now; and are rightfully enjoying every minute of it. But if history is a guide, our time in the barrel will come.

And please... no "U" tags. We don't need that. (I like the "Joe Friday U" comment though... ;) )

In the eyes of 17 and 18 year old athletes all over the country.. We are now "NFL U". These are the opinions that will shape our program for years to come. I say.. Keep it rollin!

We may never call ourselves 'The NFL-U', but we will know in our hearts that as long as Coach Saban's behind the wheel,
he's gonna deliver our players to the NFL.

It's part of 'The Process'... :BigA:

Exactly... My post was not trying to start a new nickname for the Tide. But to focus on where we are as a progam in the minds of high school athletes and NFL franchises. Basically, it doesn't get any better than this..

I don't want us to be anything other than what we are....Alabama.
I understand your thoughts and agree to an extent.. However, with Saban at the helm, we have little to no control over this runaway avalanche and where it takes us. I am as old school and hung up on our tradition as many other Bama fans are. Fortunately, for Bama fans, our coach can see into the future much better than many of us and fully understands that a program must change with the times and provide the essential pieces that TODAY's Elite Athletes are longing for in order to stand above the rest. I hope many schools continue doing what they have always done, because they are getting left behind.

I'm just a fan and always have been. When you fear something, you always make comments to try and rid yourself of the fear. I just smile at them and say Roll Tide.

NFL scouts knows Bama players are not only talented and coached well, but most of them have a great work ethic and a good attitude. Yes, we ARE currently the hottest college in America for players. Saban has produced a NFL pipeline.

That's enough to keep OUTSTANDING RECRUITS coming to Tuscaloosa! It's not show me the money, its show me how to get to where I can earn some Big time money in the NFL.

Bama was certainly on strong footing as an outlet for NFL stars before Dubose ushered us into 10 years of relative dark ages. Including 21 vacated wins from 2005-2007, a 67-55 record over ten years. I had to look that up so I could shake my head one final time and remind all that things can turn south quickly. Now we can pick up where we left off with Coach Stallings in 1996, filling NFL rosters.

Most likely a lot of other programs will adapt and try to improve on what CNS has implemented at Bama. He is, right now, the HCIC of College Football and is plowing
the clutter out of the way that produces NFL quality athletes. Will somebody adapt well enough to improve on his 'process'? Possibly, but later rather than sooner. So, for now, it's 'Riding High Time with The Tide' Life is good.

Roll Tide, A'ight!:BigA:

Is Nick Saban the Bill Belichick of college football or is Bill Belichick the Nick Saban of the NFL? I consider both to be the best at their level.
