Update on Andrew Luck

Looks like Rival's 100 QB Andrew Luck has narrowed his list and Bama didn't make it. Nobody should panic, the sky isn't falling and no he isn't the only QB out there that Bama is recruiting. It would've been nice to have landed him though! :wink: :biggrin2:

He's got a good arm and is very mobile. He has offers from Bama, UGA, WVU, Minnesota, and Purdue. 6'3" range already, just needs some meat on the bones.

My guess would be that would depend on how close the two are, but surely it couldn't hurt our chances, unless for some reason they dislike each other.

On Scout it says that we are in Luck's top 6, and this was a recent article written like yesterday, so is there a confusion b/w the sites on who his real favorites are?

When I heard that Luck had cut us from his list, I thought we must be putting a lot of stock in EJ Manuel or we feel more comfortable with a Star Jackson or Casey Kelly.

When I was searching the south Florida newspapers for info on CNS and the Miami recruiting situation I found a quote from Jackson. He said that CNS told him he was his # 1 QB target. I doubt CNS would say it unless it was true, but who knows if it is true.

Scout has me all mixed up. They always seem to do this. Yesterday, both they and Rival's had us out of the mix for Luck. Now today on Scout it looks as if we aren't out of the mix for Luck but Rival's is still the same. I'm going to go ahead and defer this to the experts! See, that's what I thought too, thank you RTO! Either he's telling the two sites something completely different or one of them is just plain wrong. Both are possible but I believe one is more likely than the other. I'm leaning toward the latter on this one. Thanks again! :biggrin2:
