I do not understand the players that say they are waiting on a school to offer because it's their dream school. What if that school never offers? Will the player be truly happy with the school he or she signs with?
I will assume they will get used to it like most people do when they have to go w/ their 2nd option. This is where I think 2 signing periods can hurt. Amile Jefferson, a 2012 recruit, was not being recruited by Duke at all. He was ready to sign in the fall. I forgot the school. In November Duke started calling and convinced him to delay his decision. Duke offered and he signed w/ them a few weeks ago.
To answer your question, I guess we should ask the players that waited on offers from Coach Saban, but never got it.
