I've sat in the uppers several times and enjoyed myself. It can be a little dizzying at first. I actually liked the view and, as other say, you can see plays develop, sort of watch the qb and receivers at the same time, etc. I did not have good experiences in the south upper deck as there is (or at least was) a huge traffic choke point where the southwest ramp exit, the disability seating and the lines for one of the concession stands get all snarled up. If you aren't careful, you can be stuck on the ramp at kick off over there.
As for your particular offer, I don't know what tickets will be going for on the Quad Saturday evening. My wife just about refuses to leave home without tickets, so I don't really know that market. Someone will reply, though. The two undefeated teams, how long its been since we played in BDS, the proximity of Starkville and homecoming have all combined to make this a pretty expensive ticket.
