Useful DIY VIDEOs thread.....

Going through the same thing with my Ryobi 2 cycle trimmer. Keeps flooding during use. Cleaned the carb and it looked fine. Went ahead and replaced the spark plug while I was at it. I’ve ordered a new gasket and diaphragm (about $5) and waiting on it to arrive.

Good luck and hope it works out. Not a great time of year to be struggling with your hand held power equipment!

I decided to replace both trimmer heads and ordered new trimmer line as well. Trying to be proactive and re-invest in wear items - which will hopefully translate into less issues on the job site!

I just ordered a gallon of this product from Amazon (free ship/Prime) and it will be here on Saturday. I'm always working on things that need help with corrosion, rust, etc. and have used several products in the past such as Ospho and Vinegar to name just two, but am curious to see how this one works out.

They claim to have it at Harbor Freight. I follow a YouTube channel rebuilding antique firearms. He uses Evaporust on most all of his projects. I plan to try it with an antique bench I am attempting to rebuild.

Yes, it's very popular with firearms restorers.

I know Tractor Supply carries it - not sure about HF, but probably.

I just ordered another 5 gallon pail of it from A-zon. Will be here Friday. That will make my 3rd 5 gallon pail in about a month. I'm doing motorcycle fuel tanks right now and they have a capacity of just over 5 gallons. I like to fill them to the brim and then wait a few days.

Please come back and post a review! :)
