Well, it is a nicer stadium and it is nice for the fans and the players still do get the bowl presents. But the money the school saved on travel does not go into the player's pockets. The players actually may lose money because there is a generous mileage reimbursement if a player drives himself to the bowl site. Also, a week in Florida would be more fun than staying in town.

Although, given a choice, playing there probably beats playing at Legion Field.
