I do too. I saw his HS highlight video for the first time and wow. I think he may be the most impressive looking back I have seen at the HS level and that is saying a lot with Trent, Lacy, Yeldon, Henry, etc.... The guy is a freak.I wish LF was coming
His brother is here so we will at least be in it to the end. IMO we are the heavy favorite.Tyler Luatua's coach says he will not be able to make the trip like originally planned.
I think Cornwell has said publically that he wants to play in the SEC so I don't see VT being a threat here.It was a very impressive list of visitors and Alabama made a massive impression on them. It sounds like Stephen Roberts has Alabama way out in front, and is likely to commit soon. I think we may have made up some ground on Tre' Williams too. David Cornewell sounded impressed, but will still visit Tennessee tomorrow and Virginia Tech next weekend. More updates should start to trickle out tomorrow.
I don't think many people, if any, see VT as a serious contender for Cornwell. Like you said, he wants to play in the SEC, and VT is the heavy favorite for Jacob Park. It is a UA-UT battle, and I think we are in a great position to land him.I think Cornwell has said publically that he wants to play in the SEC so I don't see VT being a threat here.
Interesting!I couldn't see who it was but CNS gave one recruit and his mom and dad a ride over to BDS in his car (with full police escort of course). I really would love to know who was a big enough recruit to get that level of treatment!
I think I remember hearing he did this last year with Robert Foster and the end result was good. Humphrey isn't going to a game today. At least, that's what he told Bone.
This recruitment promises to be drama filled resulting in a signing day announcement. And I don't think we should assume a Bama lock by any means. IMO of course.*Marlon Humphrey, five-star cornerback from Hoover High School (Bobby said the plans are tentative)
One thing that is known about recruiting is that it is unpredictable. I have learned never to consider any player a lock until he actually signs his LOIThis recruitment promises to be drama filled resulting in a signing day announcement.
