Vs Auburn Game 2 - Bama wins!

Bama wins game 2, 6-5. Roll Tide.

I was able to listen on the radio, exciting game. Bama fell behind 4-0 early, got to 4-3 on a Wilson 3-run shot. In the 7th, Bama plates 3 more to go up 6-4. Auburn rallied in the 9th but Kilcrease closes it out. We survived a couple ejections: Head (I think) was ejected for hitting Patterson with a 75 mph curveball, Gaspard eventually got tossed as well. A little bit of everything.

Bama wins the series but needs to complete the sweep tomorrow.

That umpire deserves to be whooped for ejecting Head. It's too bad that in all sports across the country, there's either gross incompetence among those guys or flat out dishonesty. I think the guys in the SEC are just plain stupid.

Awesome game. It was my 10 month old sons first ballgame, it was Bama vs The University of Auburn (haha), it was an exciting game, Bama wins, AND we got a foul ball. Sweet!!!

Oh and that ump was a 'tard from the words "play ball".

Because of some POS ump, Head can't pitch for 4 games. Thankfully we have 2 midweek games this week. Head's the most improved pitcher on the team, IMO

Hopefully ump Scott Kennedy isn't looking and takes a line drive off the orbital socket. Happy Easter, sucker!!!!

I can't say that I've ever seen a pitcher ejected without a warning. That was the most garbage call he made yesterday, but he had several others that were pretty awful. For the first few innings it seemed he had 2 different strike zones, one for us where everything thrown to our batters was a strike and one for them about the size of a dixie cup. Horrendous officiating.

I hate to defend a ump at any time but, they could have been warned both teams before the game because of the hit batsmen the night before and just wanted to keep peace. That being said I was one of the ones booing the ump after what I considered to be a horrible call but have since realized the warnings before the game is a possibility. Well about to head over for todays game. Time to go for the sweep.
