Bama vs ND in the... Rose Bowl?!

I think Mac and Metchie connect on a couple of long TDs and Najee and co. salt the game away late.

Alabama 45 ND 16
This is the game where I think it will be a close game. ND is incredible talented team, just simply lack the offensive power to keep up with Alabama. I'll say this... 48-28. Bama pulls away in late 3rd quarter.

Probably give up at least one busted coverage score... but a comfortable win... 41-24

Assuming all our starters are healthy and Covid free this week and for the game, I see Bama winning by 13-17 points. Maybe something like 41-28 or 41-24.

I saw on another board that a coach has Covid but it is not a Co-ordinator. The insider is usually accurate without saying too much. I think he will give an update soon on if there are any Covid issues. So far there hasn't been.

I'll take the prediction of 45-24, Bama.

But, allow me to be a bit of a negative Nelly. ND has better players than the last time we played them. Had they won the game last week against Clemson, I'd think momentum is moving their way for the game. That beatdown by Clemson, and it wasn't as close as the score indicated, kind of takes that idea off the table, for me. I don't want to overlook ND, and I'll ger-on-tee that Nick Saban isn't. No need to worry, there.

But I do think ND plays tougher than we as fans expect. They might even appear to be "in the game" at halftime. Just some thoughts...

38-24, reserve the right to change as game time approaches! I think the ND multiple Tightend sets confuses our defense for awhile.

If the good guys are focused then we can win by at least 3 TD ... if not, it may get a lil interesting. I just want them to stay focused on the mission at hand, and that starts with beating ND.

Alabama-31, Notre Dame-17. I am really hoping we are able to have some success running and slowing the game down. I think some of Alabama’s drives may be more slow and methodical than normal but still result in touchdowns. Also, I could see Saban taking foot off gas if it is 31-10 midway through 4th.
I realize that this is an optimistic prediction in some senses, but hey, at least I didn’t say 34-31 ND, which is maybe about as likely as 52-10 Alabama.
