CNS has constantly said that this david vs. goliath thing is the media trying to set up Bama. I hope our players see all these quotes by Mack as the same thing and want to go prove Mack right.

They are only a five point underdog - practically a tossup game, and the HC comes out with this stuff?

It is getting to the point where the BAMA team I would think is getting even more determined to win because Texas keep playing up this underdog role. Why cant they just be men and STOP with all the woe is us crap.

Mack Brown is playing the David vs. Goliath card way too much. Hopefully it hurts his team in the process.
I've lost a lot of respect for Mack since Texas was our official opponents in the BCSCG. Does he not think we don't know his little secret? That Texas is a pretty stout team? What he is doing is, in my opinion, totally unprofessional. There is a difference between using the underdog role to your advantage and making it your whole agenda. He's just taken it way too far.
No wonder Texas offensive coordinator Greg Davis has invited defensive counterpart Will Muschamp, a one-time Saban assistant, to share his knowledge in the film room.

So, by these statistics, Alabama has faced 6 defenses that are ranked in the top 30 nationally. By the same token, Texas has only faced two defenses in the top 30, and in both games they narrowly squeaked by...

Here is the problem I have with your post (I know you don't care but I will tell you anyway) YOUR coach is saying these things so why are you on a BAMA message board playing this why even show up routine? go over to your site and complain that your coach is saying some of the same things all us tidefaners are.

Mack Brown acted insulted at the mere thought that someone other than UT should be in the BCSCG. If that is how he feels he should act confident and just say his team is ready to play. To me the mere fact that he is droning on and making such absurd statements signals that he does see things that bother him. Did he act like this before they played what some called the "Team of the Century" in 2005? Just curious.
