Someone was on here the other day asking about where to watch the game in DC. ESPNzone will be packed, I'd suggest these alternatives:
Park Bench Pub: 3433 Connecticut Ave. NW(Cleveland Park metro)
Fanatics: 1520 K st. NW (Farragut North/West metro)

Both are pretty good sports bars. Be forewarned though, DC has a lot of Cuse fans.

ESPNZone in D.C. is located at the corner of 11th & E Streets, NW (nearest Metro station is Metro Center).

SavanaBama, if you are moving up here, be sure to get in touch with the alumni assocation here. We get together to watch all of the football games at a bar called Ramparts.

It's a lot of fun, and you don't need to be an alumnus, just have a love for the Tide.

Another couple of places in the area that are good to watch games are Summers sports bar on Wilson Blvd in the Courthouse area of Arlington, and Bailey's out in Ballston Mall.

dccuse,

My roommate (a Syracuse grad) got this from the local alumni in case you haven't heard.

"CBS has announced that the Syracuse/Alabama game will not be the
locally televised game in the Washington, DC market.

The game will still be shown at Rhino Bar on both floors. This can
serve as further motivation for everybody to come out and support the
team as a group. We hope to see you all there Thursday at 9:40 pm."

Thanks Crimson Ace. I'll definitely try to link-up to watch some games. I'll even try to bring my husband (a Gator--but I've conditioned him to a lot of Bama for the last 18 years!) along. I've sent e-mail to the POC for the Alumni Association there and will try to maintain contact!

BamaBoyInGa--there definitely are a few of us Bama folks around in the coastal empire. When we first moved to Savannah in 1999, we joined up with an alumni group to watch several football games down at a place on Bay. Years after that, I tried to find out about functions, but never got a response. Being away from "home" it really helps to find UA family members!
