Exactly. We just need to worry about ourselves. Everything else will take care of itself if we take care of business.win out, not a problem.
lose a game, problem...............
Yep. Who cares where we are now or if we should be higher? If we lose, it is a moot point anyway, so hypothetical games serve no point other than using bandwidth at this stage.win out, not a problem.

I think the "Injustice to Notre Dame" occurs because the Committee seems to only value the fact that FSU is the defending champ and is undefeated. Notre Dame may be a "quality win" for FSU, but it's not a "quality loss" for Notre Dame from an ACC team.Danny was actually pretty fair on Mike and Mike this morning. He said that he had jumped on the Bama bandwagon after the UF game but then because of our road struggles has cooled on us. He said that if we win at LSU that Bama has the clearest path to the SECCG with MSU and AU at BDS. Of course Mike Golic (former ND player and alumni) spent the entire time talking about how it was an injustice that ND was ranked #10. He said he didn't understand why ND was behind Michigan State. Danny pointed out that Michigan State had beaten #15 Nebraska and that ND best victory at this point is over Stanford..
Yes, and I think the committee is playing this perfectly because they are demonstrating to SEC fans that they respect our league, but they also know that these teams all play each other and will take care of the issue themselves. Either AU or Ole Miss will be gone after Saturday. We still play State and AU, etc., etc. I'm guessing there will only be one SEC team in the final four when all is said and done unless UGA wins out and beats an undefeated State in the SECCG. Then, we might get two. It will be fun to watch, especially if we win out and get there.Honestly, I think the committee got this pretty much right. All biases and favoritism aside, I might want to adjust a team up or down a spot here & there but I can't really make any serious complaints. Teams are pretty much where they ought to be, IMHO, and and most have the opportunity to win their way in.
Using your prior "logic"...cough, cough:Disagree. This is not smack talk, but A&M is garbage compared to Michigan State. Our signature win is more significant so far. Obviously you have several chances left ahead of you to get some significant wins.
Nebraska does not have 2 losses. They are 7-1 with their sole loss being @ Michigan State (22-27). They will most likely win out and finish 11-1. They have Purdue, @ Wisconsin, Minnesota, & @ Iowa remaining.Where does everyone think the loser of Miss vs AU will drop? Nebraska is the first ranked team with 2 loses at #15. Does the loser this weekend fall to 13-14? Do they have any shot at staying in the top 10?
I personally see them falling to the 12-13 range.
We win out, it doesn't matter what Ole Miss do...we will be in.Ive gone from wow to oh no in a matter of minutes. I was happy it was multiple one losss SEC teams in there, but when I saw Ole Miss in at 4 I was oh no. The problem now is that we absolutly need ole Miss to lose to guarentee a seat because Oregon is ahead of us, TCU is on our tail, and both Big 10 teams are in striking distance. but the most alarming thing is Arizona at 12. We need Auburn to win to nulify Ole Miss. We need a chance for the SEC We need Thunder dome....
