Anybody have any info on them as a team? Hopefully Bama can find a QB and blow em out to establish confidence. If Bama can get through this game, we will have a few weeks to improve before Gators come to T-town. I don't see Bama struggling with Southern Miss or Florida Atlantic. One thing that really helped Auburn this year was how the front end of their schedule was relatively weak with the exception of LSU. This allowed their team to improve throughout the season. Just think, if they played Georgia, Bama, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, or LSU in September they would have lost em all (almost got knocked off by Washington State and Mississippi State).

They have a HUNH coach that set the world on fire before 2013 and then fell on his face. the WVA coach is playing for his job and will probably break all prior records on number of offensive plays called in a game if possible.

Dude, go back to Opelika.

Seventeen posts from you, and ELEVEN of them have some reference to Auburn (and a 12th one shows you're such a Tide fan you don't even know what number Cornelius Bennett wore - and three others were about whose body you'd like to have, meaning I'm stunned you didn't say Bo Jackson).

Even this one has an Auburn reference.

We'll kill the Mountaineers in Atlanta and take back the SEC next fall.

For the record, I hope Auburn loses every game they play... I'm a little bit AUbsessed right now cause they beat us and trying to get over it. I was at the Sugar Bowl and cheered for Bama as hard as anyone in that stadium...

I think all you need to say is that our linemen could push theirs back 5-10 yards per play. You watch.

I guess if there was ever going to be a first game that test our off-season convictions, the coalminers are all that. Might as well get a good look at how we plan on attacking these HUNH teams this coming season and hopefully show off a little giddy up of our own.

I watched several WVU games this past season and my thought was they were a good QB and a couple of receivers away from being a pretty good team. The QB which transferred from FSU was, to put it mildly, not very good and the guy backing him up was worse.

Their defense was better than last year but could use more size in the middle. Because the offense was bad, the defense had to spend too much time on the field.

If they can fill the holes with JC players or talented frosh, they may play you guys a good game.

actually, it was before 2012. wvu was on top of the world (for our standards) after blowing out clemson 70-33 in the orange bowl to close out the 2011 season. 2012 gave us a 5-0 start, top 5 ranking, and the heisman trophy packaged up and ready to be shipped to geno smith until a collapse of unbelievable proportions occurred due to our terrible defense. winning the baylor game 70-63 was a pretty good tip off there was trouble.

anyways, last season the defense was somewhat improved, while we lost geno smith, tavon austin, and steadman bailey to the pros. started 3 different qbs all with different strengths and weaknesses but none ready to start in the big 12. i see little chance for improvement next season and likely coach holgs will be looking for a new gig by seasons end.

bama should have little trouble in the chick-fil-a game.
