What are your expectations of our games vs. UT, AU, and LSU?

I realize we are severely outmatched in all three of these matchups, but I have a feeling in my gut that we will upset one of these teams. I know the coaching and playcalling has come under fire this year, but I think our conservative, low risk playcalling gives us the best chance, and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same. I think our best shot against one of these three teams is against LSU. Maybe it's just me, but I can easily see LSU's offense turning the ball over several times against Alabama's defense with QB's like Randall and Russell. And when you think about Bama's ridiculous luck in Baton Rouge, it seems a lot more likely. RTR.

We will lose all three, and I say that as being the most realistic result, not defeatist. We might have a slight chance against LSU, if only because of the way we traditionally play in Baton Rouge and the fact that they are having some troubles of their own. We simply have yet, in six games this season, to prove on the field that we can beat a good, solidly-coached opponent.

I think that we can hang with them early - all three. The problems will start towards the end of each game as we tire and they keep sending in fresh players. Without Hudson, we will need a great deal of luck to win any of the three. IMO, if we want a bowl bid, we had better beat the two teams that we will be favored against - USM and Miss. State...

Tenn - We can run on them..... I think we can beat TN.

LSU - We can beat them with our 'D'. If we win the turnover battle here we can win

Auburn - This will be the toughest game all year. Knock down drag out. It will be tough for Bama to beat Auburn this year.

I say we win 1 out of the 3......

Right now we're not good enough to beat any of them. But you never know what might happen. There's a lot of football to be played before we face LSU and AU, and there are upsets every weekend. When was the last time Bama pulled a major upset? I think we're definitely due.

As an LSU fan....

Depends which LSU team shows up, the one who lost to Auburn by 1 and went into the swamp and completely dominated them (We gave them 14 points with a 5 and 3 yard TD drives) in the stats and won.

Or the team that melted down against UGA and did all it could to lose to Oregon State...

Spencer Pennington has 1 more week to get comfortable. If he can get to the point where we can count on him to throw for 150 yds a game and no INTs, we can win all 3.

If we are forced to run all the time like the last 3 games then we will only have a shot against Auburn, and that is on the basis of the pure emotion that the Iron Bowl creates. The underdog there normally gives the favorite fits in that game.

I'm hoping we see the one that melted down against UGA. ;)

I know everyone will think I'm crazy, but I think our best chance to beat one of those three is for Auburn to come into that last game undefeated.

The motivational factor is obvious. It's Auburn.

If Aub's undefeated, they will be in the national title hunt and could very possibly overlook big brother. Don't believe me? Go research the '01 game.

Tubberville usually finds a way to lose at least one game per year that he shouldn't.

Lastly, it's just a gut feeling that if Auburn is undefeated, they pose our best chance of beating UT, LSU or Auburn.

These reasons aren't based in very hard concrete; but funnier things have happened in Iron Bowl history.

As far as expectations for the three games go, I expect our guys to play as hard and as smart as they can, leave it all on the field and show class throughout. They do that and I can't ask anything else of them.

I'm going to tell you guys something.

I'm impressed with Spencer Pennington. Period.

He suffered a seperated shoulder at the same time Brodie got hurt last year, and dropped to third on the depth chart.

I thought maybe he just didn't have it after his game with S.C. last week where the threw those bad picks. What a difference a week makes.

Kudos to him for keeping his head up and staying focused. Give him a couple of more games, and I think he'll finish the year strong.

Also, good to see Guillon give Spencer parise for his performance, too. That's being a good sport and coming together as a team.

Pretty good for a 4th string QB when Brodie was well. The JP guys said Pennington was 4th string when Brodie was playing. Gees, who was #2, #3. I thought it was Gullion and Pennington myself.

I think that right now, Auburn is clearly the best of the three. Yet of the three, Auburn is most vulnerbable because of the coach (he still has that bonehead coaching moment waiting for him). Tennessee and LSU have good talent and Good maybe even great coaches. I think we can pull an upset against either Tennessee and/or LSU (both have shown their vulnerabilities). I am going to have to wait on saying anything about Auburn.

In the SEC anyone can beat anyone on any given day. We are due to win a tough game, we need to win a tough game, and I predict that we will win a tough game. Hopefully more than one. I know I certainly don't expect to lose any.

I don't know

First of all, I expect the team to be thinking about Southern Miss right now. Secondly, we don't know what our injury situation will be at that point in the season. Had I speculated on those games at halftime in game three this year, it would have been to win. But we all know what has happened since then. I refuse to speculate on later games once we're into the season. Now we've lost Ray Hudson indefinitely and we have no idea how that will affect us this week.

I expect us to win every game.

Listen, we are having a lot of troubles right now but we still have a lot of talent that can be used effectivly if put in the right situation with our coaching staff.

LSU, UT, and Auburn all have weakness....Auburn will lose to either Ark or UGA before us, UT got killed by AU, and LSU is struggling on several fronts.....they can be won.
