We've been hearing about this "supplement" called "Limu" from various people for months now. It seems this ever growing health supplement has now reached my area. My neighbor has now used it for three weeks and claims it has already improved his "digestive issues" that has plagued him for years.

Anyways, I got on the inner-webs and began researching and the amazing thing (and alarming/red flag) is you won't find hardly ANY negatives about it. I think I might have come across one but it had more to do with the business side of it than the health benefits. Here's the link, I'm not trying to push it, I don't use it nor distribute it. I was just wondering if anyone on here has heard of it or experience with it.

This is why I hate multi-level marketing "schemes". About a week or so ago I declined an invitation by my neighbor to come to a meeting up at his house and also specifically said I was not interested in this product. But I hoped he and his wife did outstanding with it.

Over the weekend I get a call from this guy asking if I would like to attend a meeting Saturday night where the most successful seller of this product would be speaking. I was like "I'm really not interested man, I appreciate the invite though." He goes into the "Aw come on man, you don't have to sign up for anything. Just listen to the presentation and learn about the health benefits." Again, I told him "I wasn't interested". This was this past Friday evening.

Fast forward to Saturday evening. We were about to leave and go over to some friends house to cookout when all of a sudden my four year old says "Daddy, somebody is at the door!" He knows not to dare open that door even if it is Jesus Christ Himself standing there. So I come out from our room and I be danged if ain't this dude at my door. I was thinking "I know this dude just didn't walk all the way down here to try to get me to go to that meeting." Any guesses? Yep, you iz right.

"Hey man, I just wanted to drop by and see if you had changed your mind about going to that meeting. You can ride with me." I'm not sure how long the silence actually was between the time he said that and when I verbally responded. The immediate non-verbal response was obvious by the look on his face, from reacting to the look on my face. As nice as I could say it I told him "Man, I really have no interest in that stuff. I really don't." He picks right up on a sales pitch of "You mean to tell me if this stuff could significantly reduce you and your family's risk of cancer and other major sicknesses, you wouldn't want to start taking it? Many doctors don't want to you know about it because it hurts their business. There will be several doctors formerly in practice at the meeting tonight talking about why other doctors don't want you to know about it." At this point I had reached frustration and agitation and he knew it, but unfortunately he didn't fully recognize it until AFTER his last attempt with the guilt trip sales pitch. To his credit he did quickly pull back on the sales pressure and said he was just "making sure before he left" that I didn't want to go, then quickly began backing away to turn around and head back up to his house.

I should have pulled out my junk and asked did he have any samples on him so I could try it out. :biggrin2:
