Yeah man. I used to love the way he would say Alabama. That being said. I think that Nessler is really one of the best in the college game right now. I also like Todd, or Kirk H, either are good as a color guy. CBS really should think about what they are doing to their SEC broadcasts, in fact, we should write to the SEC and tell them to complain about the CBS team. They can't come up with anyone that knows his name is ROLANDO!?!I still miss Keith Jackson._sad:
It's getting harder and harder to listen to Vern. I was also getting tired of hearing Danielson talk about how Arkansas didn't "Show up" when they played Alabama. Like if we played them tomorrow they'd beat the hell out of us...
Danielson will use ANY excuse to make his man-crush Tebow look good, and clearly is not happy unless Timmay is singlehandedly dominating all of college athletics, and saving the entire world from al-Quaeda, the swine flu and Iranian fissionable material, all at the same time. Even so, at least the usual Vern/Gary-Tebow love-fest, while still nauseating, was toned down - a little bit.
This was my gripe for the game too. We had a million penalties, but I barely recall ANY of them being replayed. I wanted to see whether they were legit calls or ticky-tack, but it seemed like ESPN never showed the replays.
I saw most of them during the play. I missed one or two, but if what I saw is any indication, they were all legit.
I just don't have that good of a "live-eye" for penalties, really.
My rip-apart-referee doll is on the way. I SURE could have used one for my frustrations on Saturday night!
