I wish Obama would give a little advice to Pelosi regarding her travel expenses in this time of national belt-tightening.

I don't think they are being hypersensitive. This is the second time he has said something similar to this about Vegas. Vegas relies on people coming and gambling. The dealers, hotel workers, and entertainers rely on gamblers coming to Vegas for their jobs. Some of you may need Obama to tell you how to spend your money but I don't. He needs to stay out of our pockets and out of our business.

Obama does not understand capitalism. At all. Our economic system is driven in equal proportion by consumption and production. If nothing is demanded, nothing is produced. If nothing is produced, no one is hired or retained. If no one is hired or retained, there is no income with which to demand the goods and services the economy is capable of producing.

If I stood face to face with Barack Obama and recited the above paragraph, I would be met with a blank stare. He certainly doesn't have any clue as to what would reverse the condition. He thinks the problem is that the evil bankers and Wall Street executives keep blowing all their profits on boats, private jets and trips to Vegas.

[sarcasm]Tomorrow, I'm going to see my boss. I've put together a budget for the company's upcoming fiscal year. Last year was pretty bad--we lost about $1.40 for every $3.00 we took in as revenue. This year, I'm even more ambitious. I'm proposing that we put the screws to our customers and jack them up for another $0.80 in revenue. And to make things even more interesting, I'm proposing to to waste even more money and only lose about $1.60 on that $3.80 income. [/sarcasm]

Nothing wrong with it. Same as the last 157,000+ manufactured outrages since Jan. 20 of last year. It's the same mind-set that, given two choices on any issue, will blast whatever choice is made. In the process, their opinions become irrelevant.

That's a great point coming from the person who still criticizes Bush every chance he gets. Or are you the only one allowed to be critical?

Every time I hear Obama speak on economic issues I cringe. He really has no clue. It's dangerous and sad that such an unqualified person has the influence he does.

Be careful or else you might sound like you are making a common sense argument in support of last year's economic stimulus package.
