What I Feel Good About is.......

We have only played ONE bad game in the last 11 games, and that was against UK....We lost to USC, MSU and UF in OT......we lost to Vandy by a couple after being down by 20+.

Last night, ET missed a few FT's....yes, he did.....that's Basketball....

We played well. We played well enough to win. Moss should have fouled out after knocking Pettway down the 10th time with 10 minutes to go.....

We shut down their two main scorers, that bushy haired kid, and Roberson (for the most part we stopped him)......

and....

We did it with out Superstar having a horrible game. I think KW was having knee trouble.....I figured that the whole game. I think back to back games on that knee wasn't a good thing for KW

This may be a blessing in disguise guys, really.......we get a rested KW, ES and company...

I think we'll get a shot at the sweet 16 now, and if we get that far, anything can happen.....

Stick with 'em......these guys are special!

Ditto on all that Cajun...I was wondering listening to the radio why Moss was beating on Pettway and no fouls called but we played well enough to win and it did not bounce our way.

With some rest, maybe we will get a few good bounces in the tourney

I think its good that we lost too. I don't think we could have dramatically moved up in the seeding without winning it all and that would make our boys tired. Mark will get them ready and I bet they come out firing in the first round just like they did Thursday. They should be an exciting team to watch. Even if they lose in the first round they were supposed to only win around 10. Thomas and Pettway are our only major contributors that are leaving after this year. We will be lights out all the time next year.

I think we can make a run in the Tourney, if we are on we are tough. We need to go back and regroup get or heads strait and play good TEAM ball. We missed on or basics last night, if we were hitting are free throws and a few lay-ups we win. Rebounding wasn't that great, just the basics and we win. I agree CajunCrimson rest could be one of the key's for a good run.

I think it would've been just way too draining to play again today, it does seem like not such a bad thing to have lost(although my near heart attacks might say otherwise

)

I really think we will be able to go far in the NCAA tourney bc now we will have more time to rest up and get ready for it!!

This team has played great over the past few weeks, and i think they have a chance to be in the hunt for an SEC championship next year. I agree with one of the above post,that stated we didn't hit our free throws, and we missed a few too many easy buckets. It appears we have problems with free throws late in games. ET is usually one of our best free throw shooters in the clutch, but even he missed a couple last night. I think we will have a tough time in the ncaa tourney for one reason, our inside game. Davis plays hard, and has been improving of late, but we aren't big enough, or strong enough inside. I also see no advantage to losing a game. Yeah, we get rest, and sometimes too much rest is a bad thing. It kills your MO. I hope we draw a couple of teams that we match up with in the early part of the ncaa tourney. ROLL TIDE!

Chances are we will hit a team similar to us in the first round........teams like BC, Washington, Colorado, Maryland.......are teams like us....athletic, strong guard play, etc.

Florida didn't beat us inside.....we lost because KW wasn't a threat......and it wasn't his fault.....just I think a bad night/knee or something

This team plays more like a team than any team we've had since the Horry/Spree/Benoit days...
