ok...the OSU vs Mizz game was televised on espn PLUS... we were televised on ESPN. Dont you think that ESPN would realize that AU vs UA would have more people interested. And then to top it off, we go on a scoring run and I dont even get to watch it! GRRRR! I was getting a little testy. ROLL TIDE!

For once I'll back espn, since I'm from Missouri. That was a monster game considering an upset happened and it was a major bubble game for Mizzou. But I'll sympathize with you because of the run we made and the fact that I root for Alabama over Missouri EVERY time.

I immediately switched to radio I may have his name wrong 'Chris Stewart'.....? he does a fantastic job. If the radio and direct-tv were in sync I would listen to Chris instead fo the TV but the radio is a few seconds ahead of the TV which will really confuse you.

I'm gld to see I wasn't the only one upset over that mess. I was sitting there with the veins about to pop out of my head when espn cut away the second time. My thinking was this. With all of todays technology, why couldn't they take everyone in the state of Alabama and leave us at the Bama vs allbarn game, while the rest of the nation got the "bonus coverage"? Oh man! my wife had to call me down. I was about to say things in front of my 6 year old daughter that she hasn't heard her Daddy say. (she doesn't watch football with me, her Mom won't allow it)

Then stop watching ESPN. It's that simple. There is a thing called radio, and we do have a great team of announcers doing the games. Oklahoma State v. Mizzou had much more national implications than Bama v. Auburn. Oklahoma State has been fighting for a #1 seed and Mizzou is in the same shoes as Bama. Bama and Auburn is one bubble team, and one team that is NIT bound. ESPN will show what will get more attention nationwide...

I am glad I didn't have to watch it on espn.
I was at the game, and my buddy said I actually got on espn. Coach Gottfried and the team was celebrating into the tunnel and he was pointing at us and the camera went up and showed us shaking our shakers. It was awesome being there, me and my friend I was with were running around the coliseum going nuts. Those aubs were hating us. It was absolutely SWEEEEET!!!! yelling roll tide in the middle of those tiggers.

Bo you go right ahead there brother. I don't pay 70 bucks a month for every Directv channel and my tivo's so i can listen to Alabama basketball. Don't get me wrong i have the same problem as Mannish, if it weren't for the 2 or 3 second DTV delay i'd totally turn off the audio and listen to Chris Stewart (whom does a GREAT job).

Also, if anyone has an actual email address or that you can send mail to ESPN to complain, that they actually read, then i'll be more than happy to send complaints in. Trying to find contact addresses on ESPN's site just gives me a headache.

I just now heard that ESPN switched over, as well they should have. That was a huge game for Mizzou. What a win for them. Probably single-handidly will put them in the tourney. UA/AU means nothing nationally. Good job ESPN. The real Bama fans would have been at the game anyhow. I had a 9 a.m. class the next morning... didn't detur me from being there to witness Bama's first win at the barn since '96.

The only reason I was upset at them switching over was one thing

PUT A PICTURE IN PICTURE LIKE THEY DO AT THE NCAA, SO I CAN AT LEAST SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING.......THAT'S ALL

thanks! LOL

Hey trippe, are you insinuating that I am not a real Bama fan b/c I was not at the game? I teach school, have a ten month old daughter and just b/c I was not at the game does not make me any less of a Bama fan than anyone else. I love Bama athletics but it's not my number one priority. I certainly hope you were being sarcastic but if you weren't I take great offense at your comment.
