What Made You Become an Alabama Fan???

Y'all that grew up in Alabama families, I kinda envy you. There's nothing wrong growing up rooting for the Trojans I guess, just seems to be a bit more connected to the Alabama side on my part, which is perfectly understandable since I go to school at UA now.

My Dad was at UA during the "Joe Willie" years, and I went to UA during the Barker/Stallings years. That pretty much dyed my wool crimson.

I was born into it in May 1964, and frankly it would never had occurred to me to be any other way. The first memory I have of any football game is when I was 5 or so. Alabama was playing a bowl game on TV and being 5 yrs old I wasn't really into it, but my daddy, brother, mama, granddaddy, etc. were watching it. I asked daddy, "Who are we pulling for?" Daddy said, "The team with the white jerseys on." I then hollered, "Go, White Jerseys!" Of course, later on that got refined into "Roll Tide." Great memories, growing up in the
70s. Bama flat out dominated in those days.
