Not that I am a big Falcons fan, but as an organization I would be tempted to move heaven and earth to ditch Ryan and move up in the draft to get Tua. Ticket sales and general following would go through the roof.
The Saints actually kind of laid out the roadmap for an "athletic" QB involved at multiple positions with Taysom Hill. If they keep up this trend, we will be back to single platoon football with individuals playing both sides like the "OLD" daysTua to Miami is too rational to happen...but I hope it does. They can play Fitzy, work on their OL, and get Tua stronger for the rigors of the NFL. Sitting a year would not be the worst that could happen to him. Plus, most of his games will be played in warmer weather...not counting annual trips to NYC and Boston.
I cannot imagine NE drafting Hurts, even in the last round. Unless, of course, they play him at RB or slot receiver.
Could he get more value by trading that pick and picking up extra picks? They need some offensive skill folks and some CBs.....if you could parlay that pick into 2 - lower 1st round picks -- then go get an OT and a WR in round 1.....and get an edge rusher later.....I agree - Redskins need an OT, edge rusher, CB and receivers in this draft. There is only one dominant edge rusher, but there are many of the other positions. They take Young.
But it is Dan.![]()
Probably but thought among fans at least is Chase Young is too good to pass on.Could he get more value by trading that pick and picking up extra picks? Giants would take Young or Okudah, whomever is available.Probably but thought among fans at least is Chase Young is too good to pass on.
Plus, if Trent Williams can be convinced to come back we're ok at OT for now and can draft a guy later. WR is only kind of a need its not huge. and there are some good CBs in FA as well
Now, if we could trade down and get Okudah and a bunch of picks? I'd consider it.
Yea probably. My bet is the Redskins sit still and take Young and then the Giants will end up with Okudah at 4. (I think the lions will be the ones to trade down so someone grabs Tua)Giants would take Young or Okudah, whomever is available.
Wasn't he going to play LB @ Bama???Tua to Miami is too rational to happen...but I hope it does. They can play Fitzy, work on their OL, and get Tua stronger for the rigors of the NFL.
