2:30 means CBS; and I don't like no CBS. 6:45(ding ding ding) means ESPN talking heads, but also Erin Andrews. I can live with the first for glimpses of the second. (but don't tell my wife that)

I prefer night games because of the atmosphere. Plus, I woke up at 10:30 last Saturday, which only left me from 11-1 to tailgate. If I don't get into the stadium at least an hour and a half before kickoff, I can't get a good seat. I have to get in there even earlier if I paint up. So basically, night games give me more time to enjoy the whole experience, especially tailgating.

I have to say I prefer the early games, but it's a double edged sword.

If we win an early game, my day is made and I can enjoy football the rest of the day without a care in the world.

If we lose, I have very little interest in watching any other games.

It depends on where we are in the season. During the warmer part of the season, I like those early evening games starting somewhere between 5 and 7 CT. During the colder part of the season, I prefer a 2:30 CT start time.
Edit: As you might guess, I attend the games

I agree with Tide 1990. I also attend the games.

If I am going to attend a game, I prefer an afternoon game. If I am watching on TV, I prefer a night game.

Day games on CBS I have learned to turn the sound off & listen to Eli. I prefer night games any of the ESPN crew are ok for me, can't stand the sound of Beth Mullins at all in the afternoons. If its a really early game I really like Andre Ware.

But the main reason for night games is we just have so many people over to eat & drink, that I enjoy having so many Bama fans around me. We will have 25 to 30 people over & I set up a tv outside. I don't drink at all during the game, and I stopped looking at the game threads after what I will call the suspension thread where we win by 3 TD's & most are unhappy with that.

I have busted my tail doing house work the last 4 weekends & I plan to do NO work other than cooking.

Me too.

I'm excited on game day, the day seems so long waiting for kickoff. Before lunch is simply too early for me, but as soon as possible after lunch is my preference.
