I think they should have to give up there wins if they were playing with an ineligible player. While I think its stupid to vacate wins, they did it to us and they should do the same to SC.I saw on ESPN College Football Live the other day that a lot of reporters and "insiders" to this case do not believe they will get hit that hard. The worst (in their opinion) will be no bowl appearances for two years and a handful of scholly losses. But that's about it.
I feel this way too. In fact, I'd be surprised if they receive a bowl ban. I'm just extremely cynical of the ncaa.I saw on ESPN College Football Live the other day that a lot of reporters and "insiders" to this case do not believe they will get hit that hard. Maybe they should have made you the new NCAA commisionerI would go with vacating all games won with Reggie Bush or McKnight after a certain date, loss of 21 scholarships over 2 years, Reduced roster to 80 for 3 years, only 6 coaches allowed off campus to recruit for 3 years, Failure to monitor, Lack of Institutional Control, vacate all titles during that time period. 5 years probation. And that is just for football. Basketball, 5 years probation, loss of 5 scholarships over 2 years, vacate all wins during the time period, no tournament play till 2011, loss of NCAA tournament revenue till probation is finished and they are clear, their share will be placed in escrow and they draw 80% at the end.
2nd that!!! Amen brother.I would go with vacating all games won with Reggie Bush or McKnight after a certain date, loss of 21 scholarships over 2 years, Reduced roster to 80 for 3 years, only 6 coaches allowed off campus to recruit for 3 years, Failure to monitor, Lack of Institutional Control, vacate all titles during that time period. 5 years probation. Oh Yeah...I would go with vacating all games won with Reggie Bush or McKnight after a certain date, loss of 21 scholarships over 2 years, Reduced roster to 80 for 3 years, only 6 coaches allowed off campus to recruit for 3 years, Failure to monitor, Lack of Institutional Control, vacate all titles during that time period. 5 years probation. I believe the probation has to last 4 years for players to be able to transfer w/o penalty, but I could be wrong. That's not exactly a slap on the wrist. And the second recruiting season for players who could transfer without penalty. Two year bowl ban would mean all Juniors and seniors, right?

It would definitely be a slap on the wrist considering the seriousness and the number of violations. Plus you'd think their arrogance and failure to cooperate would go against them too.
Mercy! Some folks you just can't please. If they have some, they want more. When they get more, they want even more still.
I was just thinking that if I were a young strapping player with lots of potential and bound for USC, I don't think they'd have to even consider paying me to go to school there.......

The CBS ban might just kill 'em.My sourses tell me this is what is coming down:
Vacating all games won with Reggie Bush or McKnight played after 2014, loss of 2.1 scholarships over 10 years, reduced roster to 80 for three minutes, only 6 coaches allowed at the first pep rally, and no TV appearances on CBS for two years.
