Alabama vs. Hawaii, 2006. First home game with the north endzone expansion.

We were dominating that game going into halftime, and nearly blew it to Colt Brennan and the Warriors at the end. Was that the year Hawaii went to the Sugar Bowl?

1998 against either Ole Miss or Vandy (I would have been 16). I think it was at Legion Field, so Vandy perhaps? (Whatever it was, Bama won, I remember that). Had to wait until my second sister was a sophomore at UA and decided she liked me enough to take me to games. I'm not sure what the deal was with my older sister.:tongue:

I think I was 6 years old when I went to my first game. That's as far as I will go in telling when because I don't even have a clue other than I went to a lot of homecoming games when I was young. All I really remember is seeing Coach Bryant standing on the sidelines. I thought I had died and gone to heaven just to see him all those times.

I want to say 1975, in Ttown vs USM; did we have a big D-lineman at that time (this was before Jon Hand, I think). I just remember, when watching the game, this guy was so much taller than EVERYBODY else.
I could be wrong on the year, but it was against USM, I'm sure...

2000 season against Vandy in game 2 where we won.... 1 of the 3 games we won that year. I was a freshman and it was a rough time to be a new fan of Bama football...

It was a game at Legion Field in the 80's. I was young and don't remember who it was. On a side note I have never seen an Alabama game at Bryant-Denny. All the games I have seen were either at Legion Field or an opponent’s field or bowl game.

Could have been Baumhower. There weren't too many players on the team much taller than Baumhower (6'5") at that time.

Saturday, November 21, 1959 - Memphis State vs Alabama

Bama won 14 - 7!

The first game I ever listened to on radio was Alabama vs Albarn in 1958. That was not a happy day except for the fact that Bama was getting a NEW Coach who would prevent the Barn from doing what they did to Bama on Saturday, November 30 1957.
