On a kids/ cartoon show a few years ago called "Cartoon Planet" (Space Ghost, Brak, and Zorak). A fan letter was from Tuscaloosa and after Space Ghost read it, Zorak called out "Roll Tide".

Probably hearing myself say it...

I was in the train station in Vienna, Austria on Christmas Day in 2001 waiting to catch a train to Budapest, Hungary. I saw a guy with one of the tackiest Auburn jackets I had ever seen. I mean, it was hideous!

Anyway, my wife said, "You need to go say hello to him..." So I thought for a few minutes and then went over and said "I saw your Auburn jacket from across the train station." (At this point, he had a huge smile on his face). "So I thought I would come over and say .... ROLL TIDE ROLL!"

He was a very nice guy and got a great kick out of it. He was a congressional aide to a congressman in DC and was on vacation with his parents and 3 sisters - all of whom had graduated from different SEC schools. I think between the 8 of us, we had 9 different SEC schools covered!

This guy yelled Roll Tide at me when we were in St. Lucia on our honeymoon. I was wearing my Alabama t shirt while we walking and taking pictures at our resort. I have been to Chitzanitza too, back in 93 with my parents. It was an expeirence. I liked the well of sacrifice, I was thinking at the time, they should throw all Auburn fans in there!

Presque Isle, Me. I also heard many Roll Tides while in the PI, especially Olongopo, as I had a buddy there I listened to the Armed forces radio network broadcast of Bama games with. since he was fom Mobile, I don't consider that random. Bama football and San Miguel beer, nothing better

Just heard a local radio disc jockey here in Detroit call out a "Roll Tide" on the radio for a listener that had called in... Gotta Love It!!

I was heading to Brother Jimmy's in NYC to watch a game with the alumni association, and a bald Hare Krishna yelled it at me on the platform of the 23rd st. 4/5/6 stop.

The airport in Montego Bay Jamaica and in Pattaya Beach Thailand. I had on a bama hat in Jamaica last year and passed someone in customs that was from Alabama and in Thailand I was wearing a bama t shirt walking down the street and someone yelled roll tide. I still don't know who said it. I assume it was someone in the military as i was there in thailand with the military myself.

I hear it all over Texas now that I live here. I also used to hear it just about everywhere across the U.S. My last job required me to travel all the time. I always have on some sort of Bama gear, which usually garnered some sort of comment no matter where I was.

In July of 2006 my wife and I took a cruise to Cozumel and Belize. I wore my crimson and white script A ball cap and when we ported at both destinations I got a Roll Tide in each port! One of the Roll Tides came from an older american couple from Ozark, Alabama.
