What's the word on Brandon Lewis?

Rivals: Brandon Lewis

He committed to bama last year out of HS but had to go to a JUCO or Prep college if I remember correctly. Does anyone know if he has to complete two years of college at JUCO or Prep before he can come to bama? I can't remember which one it is that you have to do that with and I wasn't sure which way he went. Any info?

He was a four star Rivals #14 & Scouts #54 DE prospect

He and Devonta Bolton should be part of the 2010 class.

I've heard that him and Bolton have both been tearin it up at the JUCO level. Should come in and contribute immediately (as JUCO players should) next year

I read a month or so ago that Bolton will be redshirting this next year in JUCO. This will give him three years of eligibility at Alabama.

At the time no decision had been made on whether Lewis would redshirt.
