I guess he'll just have to settle for watching defensive beasts from the SEC coming at him from all sides in a bowl game in which his team and their protected, over-inflated record goes head-to-head with a real football team.:BigA:

I can't to see that happan!!! Its always fun beating up on Northern teams!!! Especially the Big Ten.:BigA:

I think it'll be Michigan or OSU. I post sometimes on one of the Penn State boards and their collective heads will explode if this guy doesn't sign with PSU. If you go to their board, it seems like every other thread has to do with this kid.

The more I read about this kid the more I don't like him. He thinks he's God's gift to the Football world. I hope whoever plays against him, puts him in his place...APOS

Re: Where did Terrelle Pryor end up going?

Pryor has until April 1 to sign with the school of his choice.
I don't think that's true. He doesn't HAVE to sign an LOI to get a scholly at all. He can enroll in August, and still get a scholly.

That would be odd...but he doesn't have any April 1 deadline. I'm sure though, schools will start putting pressure on him pretty soon. He's good, but he ain't a one man team. They can do without him.

edit...wanted to be clear that I know there is a deadline of April 1 to sign an LOI...just saying that he doesn't HAVE to sign it at all to get a scholly

He's waiting on the draft

If he wants to play QB (albeit in this instance a glorified RB) he should go to Michigan because he could likely start right away there. I think it comes down to Michigan and Ohio State and I believe he ultimately signs with Michigan. JOMO.
100% agreement . If TP doesn't choose the tool , he's lacking some brain cells .

He sounds like such a great kid. He would be a perfect for the Hurricanes, Noles or Trojan convict teams.
Mean Machine would luv him

Thinking out loud ......
Maybe it might be taking so long because he could possibly have his hand out ?

Good point. Signing the LOI is pretty much the norm these days, but it is not mandatory.

Since it is now the norm after the rule change for scholarshiped players to enter for their 1st Summer out , there really isn't any legitimate reason or excuse for him to miss the April 1st cutoff . :conf3:

For this Georgia based fan, it sure brings back dreaded memories of Mike VIck.

Many of Vick's fans here in Atlanta (I never was) argued that he was good for the team because "he put butts in the seats" which, although true, ended up with the Falcons becoming the Michael Vick show.

It may be old fashioned to think this way but I believe that a winning program has to, first, be a team. Sure, it has to have a leader but that person should not strive to become the show. It looks to me like TP is already striving to become the show and he hasn't even signed a LOI.

I wouldn't be surprised to see TP go past the April 1st deadline. I don't remember the last time a #1 recruit did that (has it ever happened?). That would really get him some media attention.

:BigA: RTR!

And what if this becomes the new norm for the top kids?
To skip 4/1 would be about like holding out to miss training camp except for the fact that the players aren't holding any of the cards . Well ...... , unless they're running around attempting to pimp theirself out to the highest bidder . :(

if Mr. Pryor were looking for more publicity, I'm not sure this added period of intense self-reflection and re-examination of his options (I kid, I kid) has worked out the way he hoped.

The world keeps spinning. Eyes have already turned to 2009. With the exception of Columbus, Ann Arbor and Happy Valley, Terrelle Pryor has fallen off the map.

TP is telling anyone that will listen, that he has a very high opinion of himself, and that he is more than willing to put his feelings before any team's needs. If you look back you could pick out this type behavior in many before him. Anyone looking should be able to recognize the symptoms. Question is, is anyone looking?

Will basketball factor in Pryor's decision
There are many factors involved when it comes to the much-anticipated college decision from Terrelle Pryor, Rivals.com's No. 1 player in the class of 2008.

Pryor, who didn't sign on National Signing Day, will sign with Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State or Oregon by April 1.

Among the factors being discussed include location, the offense, the coaching staff, early playing time and the talent that would surround Pryor.

If he plays both , maybe he could kill 2 programs . Why doesn't he like Florida ?

Not sure, but I would bet a plug nickel right now it will be one of the so-called "sports media darling schools"--Michigan, Ohio State, and I would even throw in Notre Dame as a darkhorse candidate.

It is down to two schools but he won't say which two. I am guessing the two are probably the one he wanted to pick to begin with OSU and the one his father wants PSU. lol

Final Two: Pryor to pick this week
It's finally over, or at least it will be by the end of the week.

The recruiting process for Jeannette, Pa., quarterback Terrelle Pryor, the nation's No. 1 player, will end this week when he announces where he will play college football. Pryor has said publicly it is down to two schools, but won't say which two. Here's Rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst Mike Farrell's take on the situation.
